■What was the process for advancing the development? First, we considered introducing packaged software. As far as I know, there are three companies offering packaged software, but all of them have "oversights." This is because the development is done by the manufacturers, so while it has versatility, it differs from the formats we submit. Next, I inquired with the development company of the packaged software to see if they could customize it, but they provided a minimum estimate of 2.8 million yen, questioning whether it would be usable. Since that company had no track record of implementing customized systems, I decided against it. After that, I approached a company that develops systems using browsers to request modifications to the Excel system. However, perhaps because they were not specialized in Excel, they could not identify the cause, so I gave up. Through these twists and turns, the Excel system we had been using became a "black box" for us.
